Palo de Vibora | Snake Stick Healing & Blood Cleanse
The Remedy:
Palo de Víbora (Eysenhardtia orthocarpa / Eysenhardtia polystachya)—also known as Snake Stick, Víbora Stick, Palo Víbora, and sometimes Desert Kidneywood—is a traditional Mexican healing herb used for blood cleansing, wound healing, urinary support, and inflammation balance. Rich in flavonoids, resins, antioxidants, and natural antimicrobial compounds, Palo de Víbora helps purify the blood, soothe irritated tissues, and support healthy fluid elimination.
Commonly used to ease skin infections, slow-healing wounds, inflammation, urinary tract issues, kidney congestion, and general toxin buildup, this traditional herb is also used on the skin for bites, stings, rashes, and irritations, reflecting its “snake stick” heritage as a protective botanical.
Enjoyed as a tea, decoction, poultice, or topical wash, Palo de Víbora offers grounding, cleansing, and restorative support for internal and external wellness.
